When this previous client came to us with their proposed plans to add a new large indoor pool house to their home our excitement levels starting building quickly! Quite possiblty one of the most impressive rooms we’ve been a part of to date, this incredible multi-purpose space is what dreams are made of – fully equiped with a huge large-format porcelain tiled swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, gym, changing rooms and ample relaxation and social seating areas, the pressure was on to deliver something special.
The brief was to create an Ibiza-style oasis bar, perfect to take the weight off after a long day in the office and be instantly transported to a mediterranean paradise (regardless of what the british weather has to offer).
The main areas that took careful consideration –
| Maximising refridgeration – our designs included 1x tall larder fridge, 1x tall fridge-freezer, 1x undercounter wine cooler & 1x ice machine, |
| Seating – sociable bar style seating with enough space for the largest of family/friend gatherings, |
| Display surfaces – we designed a chunky 200mm boxed pure white quartz worktop upstand, perfect for an array of spirits, mixers, plants and other decorative items. We also designed and manufactured a unique run of floating wall hung cabinetry, featuring rebated LED lighting tracks, mirror-backed panels in a variety of different shapes and sizes. |
